🧘Mindful SEO: Four Key Questions to Guide a Strategy that Flows

Building Genuine Online Presence Through Thoughtful Decision-Making

It can happen…

It seems like a ridiculous title.

But as nomadic entrepreneurs we want our marketing to flow authentically.

That’s why this Newsletter won’t be another how to list.

But a few questions for us to think about if SEO, Search Engine Optimisation a.k.a getting customers from Google Search is for us

So let’s meditate on 4 SEO questions….

Will it flow from you?

Since SEO is about getting your website ranked on Google and that means Google bots crawling your website, reading it and deciding it’s quality… you’ll need to write a bunch of blogs.

For our marketing to to feel authentic it needs to come from the heart in a way that flows.

So ask yourself: Do you love to write?

Minimalist…do you need it on your website?

If you write articles on your own site, it takes time for a thing called Domain Authority to grow.

Domain authority is how much Google trusts your website. Big websites always win.

So why not write on big websites like Medium, or Beehiiv first.

Chances are people will find your article on Google search right away.

It’s also why I’m writing this newsletter (on Beehiiv).

Because I don’t need a website, I need a newsletter, so I’m here. But every article is adding to SEO.

Do you like brainstorming?

Your articles for SEO will be titled based on what you think people will put in the search bar of Google.

Because when they type ‘best beaches Bali’ and article about exactly that better come up.

So, there are tools out there that can help like Ubersuggest BUT they don’t know your specific customer so at some point become limited and you’re website will not feel authentic.

Here’s what I mean (with a totally made up example):

SEO topic brainstorm

Is it worth it for you?

SEO is all about getting people into your website. There are 8.3 billion searches a day so no worries about if people use it….

BUT you need to rank in the top 10 for Google or forget about it, no one will see your site

Click through rate based on ranking on Google (Semrush Data)

Check if this is possible for you by getting a free month trial of Mangools.

Then type in your keywords and see how difficult it will be for you to win a top 10 position by ‘Keyword Difficulty’ (KD) ranking.

The other thing too is look at the search volume for those terms…worth it?

I mean low search volume is ok if your product/ service has a juicy price tag.
